increase funding for NASA's Spaceguard program to detect and potentially destroy meteor threats

In light of the asteroid that exploded over Russia on 2/15/13 injuring over 1000 people and causing millions of dollars in damage, the government needs to increase the funding to NASA's Spaceguard Program. The meteor that hit weighed only 10 tons and was not detected until it exploded with a force of at least 300 kilotons. We must increase funding to detect these potential threats and find a way to either destroy or at least deflect them.
