Increase funding to the research and development of Nuclear Energy.

Created by H.F. on September 23, 2011

It has come to be a widely held belief that nuclear power is an unsafe and unreliable means of producing electricity. Unfortunately, these concerns arise mostly out of sensationalism and misinformation.

Let us observe these facts:

1) Nuclear is more cost efficient than other forms of energy.

2) Nuclear is more reliable than other forms of energy that rely on mining, drilling, or consistent weather.

3) Nuclear energy has resulted in fewer human casualties than oil, coal, or hydroelectric.

With a strong emphasis on advancing reactor technology, nuclear energy will become even safer and more efficient than it is today.

It's time to end the clear disconnect between policy and reality in Washington. Help demonstrate that we are passionate about making the right decisions for our future.
