It's time to put an all-out effort into maintaining a viable solar power industry. Anthropogenic global climate destabilization is here because of our refusal to get off our fossil fuels diet. This will result in hundreds of thousands of needless deaths over time, a ruined agriculture industry, and a loss of coastlines and greater storm surges.
The Sun will continue shining down on Earth whether we decide to use its energy or not. We should use it; Germany already does and has no need for a nuclear industry:
