When borrowing for education, there may not be enough time for people to pay back, especially if it has taken them some time to find a job in their field. Stafford loans only offer 6 month grace period and Perkins only offer 9. I am petitioning that at least one year be the grace period. This will allow one to save some money and also look for a job
