Increase Gun control in the United States

Gun control is one of the biggest problems the United States is facing right now. The U.S. has the fourth highest number of gun homicides, with around ten-thousand annually. Out of 196 countries in the world, nine of them have over one-thousand homicides. It shows that we rank among the highest when we should be the lowest.

The gun show loophole needs to be closed. Approximately forty percent of guns purchased in the U.S. are bought at gun shows. When a firearm is bought at a show, there is not a required background check. A convicted felon could walk into a gun show, buy a gun, and leave with it without anyone ever knowing he had a criminal background.
