increase investment in the production of aircraft carriers

Aircraft carriers are necessary to increase US deterrence. We are currently overstretched and our navy is weak at the moment. A strong one is key to maintain dominance. If we don't have more aircraft carriers we would also not have the ability to keep sea lanes open for trade which would hurt not only our economy but the global economy. Our carrier capabilities are critical to a strong offshore balancing strategy which is necessary to pull our troops out of countries so we can center our military around a grand strategy for an era of US primacy. It minimizes the fear that our power can provoke and which can lead to unnecessary antagonism. Aircraft carriers are the backbone of US primacy and are necessary to maintaining global dominance.
