Mr. President, more substantial action is needed quickly in your second term.
The American people are increasingly concerned about our endangered climate and what it means for the nation's future.
1. Create more jobs in environmentally responsible industries, research and education by revising outdated regulations and programs.
2. Finish meaningful regulation of power plants to reduce harmful carbon and other emissions.
3. Put a price on pollution that is causing climate change.
4. Engage in an active but urgent dialogue with the American people, including the private sector, about what can be done to help and why.
