Increase the maximum FEMA aid from the current price of $31,900 due to the vast devastation of Hurricane Sandy.

Created by J.P. on November 13, 2012

FEMA will currently provide financial relief to those affected from natural disasters, including most recently, Hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately, there are many families that are going to have to rebuild their entire homes with the maximum price of $31,900. This amount must be used to repair roofs, walls, floors, appliances, furniture, etc.

This amount is simply too low. We cannot allow the government to leave thousands of families without the most basic necessities.

We need to take immediate action to allow more funds to be distributed to those affected by this horrible storm.
