We the People of The United States of America most respectfully ask the Obama Admistration to raise the minimum wage standard to 12.50 an hour in light of the social and economic issues that plague Americans on a daily basis, failing to provide the chance at an improved lifestyle which all Americans have the right to.
Mr. President, as you know, the last time minimum wage was increase was about 15 years ago when it was raised to 5.15 an hour. With the cost of inflation on consumer goods and lack of decent wages in flooding the American welfare system and putting America in a more precarious state.
