Increase the NASA budget in order to stimulate inspiration in the American youth, that will then spawn innovation

Created by D.K. on January 30, 2013

With the ending of the Space Shuttle program, many say NASA has lost its way and is taking the wrong path. The Orion and SLS programs seem to bring the satisfaction the agency was looking for, but instead leaves NASA under funded, with a budget that can not sustain such a enormous program, like Orion and SLS. Now these programs are likely to fail. Orion and SLS are good programs but can only function if NASA gets a significant budget increase. We hope that that the president can provide this budget, so that he can follow up with his promise to stimulate innovation, so that the nations economy to grow. In order to innovate you first must inspire the future innovators, just like the Apollo program did in the 1969, with an ambitious goal like the moon in this case first Mars or Asteroids.
