Increase NASA funding to 20% of the federal budget. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration gets 0.5% of it!

Created by S.C. on April 21, 2015

$18.4 billion
NASA's FY 2011 budget of $18.4 billion represented about 0.5% of the $3.4 trillion United States federal budget during that year, or about 35% of total spending on academic scientific research in the United States.

You read that right, $18 billion is all we spend on the entire budget of NASA, which literally sends men to the moon. The Superbowl spends more each year on a single game, and the federal budget is planning to DECREASE the already thinning NASA budget!
