NASA's is one of, if not the, de facto science agencies in the world. It is the agency that sent rockets to the Moon, the agency that sent probes to space, the agency which gave us so many things which everyone uses, the agency which inspired many people to study our universe.

That's right, less than one percent of our funding goes towards NASA. For reference, the military receives about 21% of that same budget. Even now NASA is a great program. It sends objects to the edges of our star system. It creates tommorow.
Do I have an exact number for a budget? No. However, .048% is an excessively low amount for such an influential program in our country.
