Thousands of people who choose the United States of America to live are sent back after college because of outdated immigration policies. One of our most dear team members (I own a startup) is in this situation. She came at age 14 and is now 23 years old. She will have to go back to her country of origin because she does not have a work visa. We want to sponsor her because she is an invaluable team member - and our outdated policies should not restrict her opportunity to live in the country she loves. We don’t chose where we are born, but we should be able to choose where to live and contribute to society.
