We the people of these United States, in execution of our rights and duties as citizens, for the purpose of bettering our lives, our economy, our nation, and the securement of the United States of America as a frontrunner of science, technology, education, and well-being, request the following actions be taken by the President (insofar as it is within his Constitutional powers to do so) and our national Congress whom we have elected (insofar as it is within their Constitutional powers to do so): the increase of the operating budget of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) from $17.7 billion to $35.4 billion -- an increase of $0.005 for every $1.00 of tax revenue -- for the purpose of the exploration and discovery of the universe in which we, humanity, inhabit.
