The government claims that the Armed Forces at at the Civilian equivilent for their salarys. I ask how this is possible when the men and women that protect this country represent a merely 1% of this entire nation. Don't you think they should be paid like they are protecting the other 99% of American's and 100% of our freedom. If our nations military is on constant worry living paycheck to paycheck how are they able to focus on protecting and serving our nation. The military deserves more!
