I am a disabled veteran of the wars of Afghanistan and Iraq. I would like to see the compensation for veterans with disabilities increased as COLA rates have not done enough to help with the changing and rising costs of not only fuel, but housing and food.
The United States government has always said they will take care of their veterans. Now is the time for the government to step up to the plate for those who have endured horrific sacrifices for the nation we all call home.
