Increase pay and benefits for military members.

I believe that the military should receive higher pay and larger benefits in order to keep afloat in today's economy. Those of us with families struggle every day. Being in the military shouldn't mean that you have to choose not to have a family because it is too expensive. Being in the military and serving the country shouldn't mean that you get less pay and benefits. Instead of cutting the funding for the department of defense, and forcing the military to cut back on troops our country needs, why not increase our pay, benefits, and funding? I sincerely hope that the Obama administration will bolster our country's defenses by providing the funding needed to pay our forces more, and provide more benefits to every soldier and their family members.
