Increase the pay of the female gender in the United states

i am a male student, which did not know this fact before but learned in geography class that in the Beautiful and Great United States Of America that Females are payed less then males and i find it as a disgrace that we have not delt with this human rights abuse and how this may be unfair and discreminating to female workers.
