Increase the payback grace period for recent college graduates with Student Loans from 6 months to 2 years.

Created by M.M. on February 05, 2013

Recent college graduates are still faced with a tough job market and a terrible economy. Due to the recession, the economy has not been fruitful for the recent graduating classes, and this will continue to hinder the country from fully recovering. The grace period of 6 months before one must begin paying back his or her debt is no longer a reasonable amount of time for today's young professionals to find a suitable job where he or she earns enough to sustain life, as well make payments. By extending the payback grace period, most importantly one that does not incur interest, today's graduates will be given proper time to find a job that can be viewed as an actual career, one that provides benefits, gives them ample opportunity to save up funds, thus be more productive to the country.
