Increase penalties for animal cruelty ten fold. This has to stop: wired.com/threatlevel/2012/11/crush-video-indictment

Created by A.H. on November 30, 2012

I beg all state and federal bodies to examine the laughable punishment for those that torture, kill, and videotape the process of torturing and killing of any animal that is unable to defend itself and is other wise not bothering anyone anyone.

Killing for entertainment is sick. The existing laws for burning an animal alive are fines and misdemeanors, and the felonies don't even demand that much in a return punishment. There are many groups for human rights, but the second someone defends an animal that can not talk, that person is quickly silenced and ridiculed.

It's time to change the laws for these sick individuals to make them think twice about what they are doing. It will not prevent it obviously, but as of right now, our 4-legged friends suffer without a voice in the law.
