For the past 14 years the Personal Needs Allowance that has been given to all the residents within New Jersey that have to enter Nursing Facilitie's given by Social Security.We have been receiving $35.00 i'd like to increase it to $70.00 with the recession and the much higher prices.After all the seniors have done for us can we keep there dignity by increasing there allowance.The personal needs allowance has been $35.00 monthly for the past 14 or more years now New Jersey would like to raise it to $70.00 monthly
