The dollar coin is a better alternative to the dollar bill and should be increased in production because the dollar bill costs more to make than the dollar coin and increasing dollar coin production will be necessary to to make it more popular
The dollar coin is cheaper to make than the dollar bill. If our government were to replace the dollar bill entirely with the dollar coin than our country would save 5.6$ dollars every year. Our government realizes this and has even stated that they would rather use the dollar coin then bill
