The next universal exposition (world's fair) is occurring in Milan in 2015 on the theme of agriculture, food, and feeding the world. Currently the United States is not a participating country. The United States has announced intent to participate, if they can find an organization willing to handle it for them. Allowing an international opportunity of this size and importance to pass without being taking advantage of would be a tragedy in our increasingly international society. The government must do more to ensure our participation in this monumental show of international unity and innovation.
