US is the number 2 destination in the World for tourism. The public transportation should be revamped to become the best in the world. Affordable and quick modes of transportation are crucial to connect this vast and beautiful country of ours. Increase in tourism will increase jobs and move the economy in the right direction. We have an amazing road system but the country needs other modes of transportation. China has an aggressive high speed rail system, making it the largest rail system in the world boasting of more high speed tracks than the rest of the world combined. It is now the biggest auto maker, and surpasses Boeing and Airbus in manufacture of Jets. The policies of the government cannot be myopic or political, it has to serve the interests of the country and make us the best.
