Many other countries have strict enforcement for drug offenders. We lock up offenders and give them minimum punishments that don't scare them. 6 months to 3 years in jail for possession and they're on the streets again, more determined, more hardened. The kid gloves need to come off and we need to instill the fear of justice in drug pushers, users, and traffickers.
We can reclaim our borders with the strength of law, spare our children from substance abuse, and create opportunities to focus on other matters plaguing the country.
