We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Increase the racial diversity in NBA and NFL

Created by X.F. on June 24, 2016

Recently the Supreme Court upheld UT-Austin’s program for increasing student diversity partly based on race. We support this action to give students of different race have "equal" opportunity to receive education. However, we also noticed the extreme racial unbalance in sports leagues like NBA and NFL. Asians are especially under-represented in these sports leagues. We noticed that NFL has implemented policy to interview black coaches first when hiring coaches. As Asian American we love sports and got irritated that these leagues don't recruit more Asian players. We want the government to pressure these leagues to implement affirmative action to recruit players based on race so that there are equal percentage of Asian players in these leagues. Asian kids' opportunity counts.
