Our current policy on funding quantum research from congress in relation is woefully inadequate and does not provide us with technologies that would increase national security exponentially such as secure quantum communications and quantum computing technologies allowing us to break into encryption utilized by other nations. Therefore, the people would like congress to double the current budget for quantum research from approximately $200 million to $400 million dollars.
