Increase the salary or pay of our soldiers currently serving, whether on active duty, or inactive duty.

This petition is being created to request the current administration to put in place better pay/salary/compensation for our members of the armed forces. Our soldiers who are sacrificing their lives on a day to day basis earn a mere minimum wage that is disgusting compared to some of the private sector jobs these days. I understand that they receive benefits in the form of college reimbursement and/or health care benefits, but this is simply not enough. I implore the current administration to increase the wages of all active and non-active members of our great nations military to assist them and their families to survive in today's economy. The current wage calculations are far too low when compared to the cost of living and the fact that most amenities have skyrocketed over the years.
