Increase the lifetime learning credit. You are getting an advanced degree, but paying high interest rate loans; thus, you have no money with which to live, when you are swamped with graduate degree loans. Need to increase the threshold, so that people who make more, from the higher degree, can actually benefit from the extra money. A graduate degree can cost well over $150,000, easy--but the threshold currently is only for those making up to $63,000.
