Increase the size and strength of U.S. armed forces over a four year period to a total strength of 1,000,000+ personnel.

Continuous cuts to U.S. armed forces have hurt both our security and our economy. I propose roughly doubling the size of our armed forces, particularly when it comes to core functions: infantry, marines, tanks, paratroops, artillery, and logistical support. I am not asking necessarily for more advanced stealth jets, or long range missiles, the primary cost drivers of our armed forces expenditures, those are important; but I am talking about boots on the ground, manpower and raw firepower to engage the enemy at multiple points so we can continue to have an armed forces capable of engaging two different enemies on two different fields at the same time across the world without jeopardizing our own defense. I ask my fellow citizens to join me in this request.
