Increase the SPEED of border crossing wait times w/mexico, balance security without hurting our economy. ACCOUNTABILITY.

Economic growth between the U.S. and Mexico has been undoubtedly beneficial for both countries enormously. Unlike with China, Mexico purchases U.S products with little or no trade deficit. The U.S. federal government has failed to balance security with our economic interests as a country. After 9/11 with the pretext of preventing terrorist entries to the U.S and with the creation of Homeland Security and its new powers and overgrown bureaucratic institutions, border crossing times for Mexican law abiding citizens and U.S. citizens has been getting more unbearably excessive. Border wait times by foot or car can easily (depending on time of day or month or year) be up to THREE hours. There is a lack of accountability, custom officials close lanes regularly and waste time & are disrespectful.
