Increase the amounts given in student aid and loans to graduate students of all types. With what we know about higher education, it is imperative that we help fund students to increase the higher end positions that will, in turn, increase the GDP as higher end jobs are drawn back to the United States.
This is with the understanding that the return on investment is not just monetary. It is also well known that knowledge increases largely thanks to PhD level minds. These are people that are well known for what they know. It stands to reason that they would also make for a better world overall. This includes programs that are near the hearts of both Republicans and Democrats. These would include environmental, medical, educational and a host of other causes. It is a real win-win!
