Increase the tariff on Imported Chinese goods to match the American made equivalent.

Concerned of the over 18 trillion us dollars that the United States of America is in I bring a petition to help decrease billions if not trillions of dollars of debt if passed. China now owns somewhere around 1.37 trillion of the U.S. debt; everyday we continue to dig a deeper grave of debt for ourselves. One simple solution would to be, increase the tariff on imported goods from China. If we increased the tariff so that American made goods for equally as expensive as their Chinese counterpart this would result in numerous positive things. First being this would take American companies out of China and put them back in the US. Since the American goods would be more expensive, companies would be gaining more economical growth then ever. This would allow them to pay their employees more.
