Increase tariffs on products coming from China so their cost equals what it would cost to manufacture them in the USA.

There are over 200 Walmart stores in China. How proud the shoppers in these stores must be to see 99.9% of the products made in THEIR country.
The USA has lost millions of manufacturing jobs to China. Check product origin in any "big box" retail store - 99% of the items are "Made in China."
If we can make a product in the USA, we should. If we can't, import it. We should make our own clothes, shoes, tools, appliances, TV sets, toys and YES, our own Christmas ornaments.
Our government provides services for ALL of our citizens, but if many of them are unemployed, they don't pay taxes. It has to borrow to function.
Our government should impose graduating tariffs on Chinese products so that eventually their purchase price will equal what it cost to make the product in the USA.
