Change the tax codes for large business in such a way that it becomes economically unviable for them to ship what should be American jobs overseas (a small exemption allowed provided the overseas job services that particular area of the world). It is one thing for a US company to invest in another wealthy nation, but it is a crime to keep low skilled jobs out of the hands of the American unemployed. No one in this country wants to phone a call center in Mumbai and many jobs located in 2nd and 3rd world countries where there are no workers rights are toxic to the region. Instead of a child working for a dollar a day making a shoe why not put that job in the hands to someone who is on well fare and struggling to find work?
