Increase taxes upon gun manufacturers and gun shop owners to compensate for victims of gun related crimes.

Created by J.P. on December 18, 2012

The CT massacre has awakened us to the fact guns motivate high stakes crimes. Rather then target individuals, this bill hopes to lay the responsibility on those who procure the sale and development of firearms.

All gun manufacturers and gun shop owners should be forced to pay a 15% tax on annual profits they make in gun related materials. These extra taxes should be used primarily to give relief funds to the victim's families of gun related crime.
