Increase transparency and accountability of federal law enforcement agents by requiring personal video recorders.

Created by M.B. on August 30, 2012

The Obama administration has committed itself to creating greater transparency in government. By issuing personal video recorders to all federal law enforcement agents, we believe the current administration could greatly improve public confidence and support of our law enforcement.

The average American will have much more contact with law enforcement officials than with any other gov't office. By leading the way for local police departments, this administration can take great steps to open government.

Video benefits officers and citizens alike. Citizens that feel they have been treated poorly will have the necessary evidence to make a complaint. Officers will have stronger evidence, protection from undue allegations, and endless training material.
