Jails and prisons are the biggest provider of mental health care...getting the picture? Save our nation huge healthcare and judicial costs by addressing the ACTUAL problem. Access to medication, therapy, and inpatient treatment is cheaper than repeatedly arresting, carrying out the judicial process, and incarcerating for substance related crimes, crimes under the influence, and ER visits without curing the disease. These are biologically based diseases that can be treated, allowing people to recover and contribute.
