Increase VA Budget so the VA can offer better services, hiring more staff and increasing the quality and timely care.

Created by K.B. on March 27, 2014

As it is now. Veterans are waiting up to two to three months to get medical and psychiatric care. Some times the doctors are so burdened in some VA facilities they cannot care for veterans in a timely and effective manner. Increasing the budget to hire more health care professionals would help veterans get the care they need in a timely manner. The programs for veterans should also be considered. Increase the Beds on the PTSD programs such as American lake Washington so that the treatment times can go back to 6 weeks or more. This will allow those who are having more difficulties to have more time to work on their trauma making them more productive to them selves, family's and themselves.
