Look I understand the idea of increasing minimum wage. and if I worked at a job paying Min wage i would want a raise as well, but what people fail to understand is Business want to make a set profit level and just because the government decides to raise the min wage doesn't mean they will take less profit.
all that will do is cause a temporary pay increase for those making min wage just until these companies raise the cost of their goods to get them back to their decided profit level.
Further more anyone else like myself who has past experience and worked hard to get a rate above min wage will make the same amount. effectively causing EVERYONE above minimum wage to take a pay cut. the cost of goods will increase and their pay will stay the same. Increase pay for everyone or none at all.
