Increase the wages of CNA's all over the state of Florida from 8 dollars an hour to at least 11.

Created by S.W. on August 08, 2013

Many people tend to think that Certified Nursing Assistants aren't of value. I've heard nurses say things like "They're dogs" or "They aren't worth anything" and look down on CNA's; especially in Florida. Nurses refuse to do the duties of CNA's and refuse to clean patients. I'm tired of my friends and family being looked down upon. CNA's went to school for their job, they have an education! They risk their lives every single day taking care of YOUR elderly mothers and fathers, they love and cherish these old people. Hundreds of thousands of elderly are thrown in nursing homes, simply because no one wants to take care of them, but CNA's do. Why should a person in dietary who put foods on a plate make 15 dollars an hour and CNA's who love and take care of the elderly only make 8?
