Much too many times, individuals in positions that are the epitome of Moralistic and Ethical principals, such as those who have put themselves in positions to guide our souls (Priests) or those who have put themselves in position to represent the ideals of lawfulness and service to society such as Police Officers and Firefighters, have gone against their own teachings/guidelines and sexually assaulted an innocent child or even multiple children.
Those people who have consciously chosen a life of servitude to others and who represent goodness in our society should be punished more severely than a common citizen when they choose to sexually assault and thereby destroy the innocence of children.
Those individuals, because of the positions of high morality should be punished more severely.
