Independent pharmacy is being left out.

Created by F.V. on January 23, 2014

there is supposed to be an " any willing provider " law yet 24000 pharmacies nationwide are not invited to join many networks (especially medicare D) and the giants (CVS and Wallgreens etc) have lobbied and succeeded in getting preferred networks whereby its a financial disincentive to fill prescriptions outside the chains - all subscribers are receiving notices directing them to save money at preferred networks. This together with mail order incentives is anti-competitive ,anti-trust and actually driving the costs of drugs UP through monopolies . Btw. We have seen increases in prices of generic drugs this passed year alone ,some over 1000% , some as high as from $5- $ 500 same drug thats been around 100 years ! no explanation ! Please STOP this crazy trend and rip-off of US taxpayers
