Indict all parties complicit in the seditious act of threatening to default, in order to extort political gains that could not be achieved through the democratic process, on our sovereign bond obligations. Though the actual default was averted, the mere attempt to extort political gain by means of economic terrorism has weakened international faith in our intent to honor said obligations, and has potentially caused immeasurable damage to our economy in the years and decades to come. If no one in the U.S. is above the law, then prove it.
