Martin Savidge violated USC 922 by leaving Georgia and entering Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina with the intent to purchase firearms. He successfully purchased 3 handguns in Tennessee and a rifle in South Carolina. None of these transactions took place at a licensed FFL dealer and since they were outside of Mr. Savidge's home state, acquires these arms without using an FFL holder is illegal.
