On October 28th 2016, FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to Congress stating the agency's intention to review new emails found to potentially pertain to Hillary Clinton. On Sunday November 6th, the FBI announced no charges would be filed after reviewing the emails in question. During the intervening time, polls in the election slipped for Clinton as a result of this bogus investigation.
