Induct the Whopper into the Smithsonian as part of the permanent collection of official Americana.

This petition is to make a case to the Smithsonian Association to allow the Whopper's induction in the museum's Americana collection where it rightfully, and deliciously belongs. Since it's creation in 1957, the Burger King Whopper has served as an iconic symbol of American patriotism, heritage and hunger. The Smithsonian is the world's largest museum and research complex, boasting 19 museums, 9 research centers and affiliates worldwide. With the addition of the Whopper, the Smithsonian's collection of the most significant American artifacts in the United States history will finally be complete.
