Congress just voted themselves a payraise - for no reason. They don't do their jobs and think we should foot the bill?
January 7, 2013, if the proposed increase for taxes on the wealthy is NOT signed off, all members of the House and the Senate up for re-election in 2014 will immediately take a 10% pay cut - with no hope of reversal of that cut.
January 14, 2013, if the proposed increase for taxes on the wealthy is still NOT signed off, all members of the House and the Senate up for re-election in 2014 will immediately take a second 10% pay cut - with no hope of reversal of that cut.
They will also not be eligible to run for re-election. For ANY public office for ten years. They will not receive their salaries after their incumbency, but they WILL do their jobs - or be fired forthwith!
