Congress is deeply divided into the two dominant political parties. Although political parties are important, division and stubbornness between congressmen and women based on party affiliation and beliefs are slowing down decision making on Capital Hill. Compromise is what allows decision making, which is something that Congress is having a hard time accomplishing. Congress is designed not to solely debate topics, but to reach decisions as well. Tell Congress to rethink not their ideals, but the way they approach the other side of the isle. The other party is not the enemy, they are the representatives of a segment of the populations view on current issues. Encourage Congress stop kicking the can and compromise on important issues affecting America and the world today.
