This is a suggested change to the award criteria for the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal. Many Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines have and are currently supporting Operation Inherent Resolve and operations being conduct in Iraq and Syria. In light of this, an amendment to the award should include those assigned within the USCENTCOM AOR and directly supporting OIR from outside the predefined geographical area already designated for being awarded the medal. This should specifically address those assigned to USCENTCOM, USAFCENT, and USARCENT.
